My food diary for April 2007.

2007-04-30 Monday
Sewing meeting casserole. No picture since we didn't eat at home today. It was delicious though. Sewing meeting casserole is the direct translation from Swedish, which probably isn't the right name in English. It's a macaroni casserole with cheese sauce and ham.

Takeaway McDonalds. Mc Fiest wholemeal with french fries and Coca Cola.
 

2007-04-28 Saturday
Barbecue. Marinated pork shoulder with Hasselback potatoes and pepper sauce. Green salad with red onion, olives and garlic cloves in chili sauce. Castillo de Madax red wine with a glass of sparkling water to drink.

Burritos, including wheat tortilla, minced meat with taco mix, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, corn, sugar snaps, red onion, cheese, taco sauce, black olives, créme fraiche, guacamole and nachos. Oude Kaap 2004 South African red wine and a glass of sparkling water to drink.

Ham and cheese pie. A green salad with garlic cloves in chili sauce, sugar snaps and dried tomatoes in oil. Sparkling water to drink.

Home made mini pizza on Polar round bread with tomato sauce, cheese, ham and mushrooms. A green salad with sugar snaps, garlic cloves in chili sauce and dried tomatoes in oil. Sparkling water to drink.

Pasta with a ham, cheese and mushroom sauce. A green salad with garlic cloves in shili sauce, green olives, sugar snaps and dried tomatoes in oil. Sparkling water to drink.

Takeaway Pizza. Capricciosa and Bolero from Intermezzo Deli. With Pizza salad and sparkling water to drink.

A green salad with garlic cloves in chili sauce and olives and a piece of bread on the side. Sparkling water to drink.
 

Pancakes with strawberry jam, syrup or just granulated sugar for desert.

Chicken filet with rice and curry sauce. Green salad with garlic cloves in chili sauce and green olives. A Grand Sud Merlot 2005 red wine and a glass of sparkling water to drink.

Chinese takeaway - Fried chicken with rice and sweet and sour sauce. Beer to drink

Hamburger plate. Burger with bread, lettuce, hamburger dressing, yellow onions, sliced ghurkin, tomato and ketchup. French fries with ketchup and a green salad with garlic cloves in chili sauce and green olives.  Sparkling water to drink.
 

2007-04-18 Wednesday
Breaded fillet of fish with potatoes, Hollandaise Sauce, green salad and microwave cooked broccoli. Sparkling water to drink.
 

2007-04-17 Tuesday
Pasta carbonara, green salad with garlic cloves in chili sauce and green olives. Sparkling water to drink.
 

2007-04-16 Monday
Chicken nuggets with rice and curry sauce and some Chinese sweet and sour sauce. Green salad with sun dried tomatoes and green olives. Tap water to drink.
 

2007-04-15 Sunday
Spaghetti with taco spice flavored meat sauce, parmesan cheese and ketchup sauce. Green salad with paprika and thousand Island dressing. A piece of bread on the side and tap water to drink.
 

2007-04-14 Saturday
Barbecue premiere. Marinated pork shoulder with oven fried potato wedges and pepper sauce. Green salad with feta cheese cocktail tomatoes and olives. A piece of bread on the side and Chill Out red wine with a glass of sparkling water to drink.

Burritos, including wheat tortilla, minced meat with taco mix, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, corn, red onion, cheese, taco sauce, black olives, créme fraiche, guacamole and nachos. Beer to drink. (It's an old image, forgot to take a picture!)
 

2007-04-12 Thursday
Hamburger plate. 120g burger with bread, lettuce, hamburger dressing, red onions, sliced ghurkin, tomato and ketchup. Pommes stripes with ketchup and a green salad with hamburger dressing on the side. Sparkling water to drink.
 

2007-04-11 Wednesday
Fish fingers with macaroni. A green salad with olives and red paprika. Sparkling water to drink.
 

2007-04-10 Tuesday
Pasta with a ham, cheese and mushroom sauce. A green salad and sparkling water to drink.
 

2007-04-09 Monday
Raclette with Gouda cheese, smoked ham, baked potato, Spanish tapas, mushroom, a half avocado, paprika, green salad with black and green olives, sun dried tomatoes and garlic cloves in chili sauce. Aioli sauce and a sauce on feta cheese and créme fraiche. Beer to drink.
 

2007-04-08 Sunday
We had our Easter dinner one day late this year. There was colored eggs, pickled herring and salmon, of course, and also potatoes, salad with red onions and créme fraiche.

Besides this we had meatballs and small frying sausage. Bread with cheese on the side and beer and a snaps to drink.


 

2007-04-07 Saturday
Leftovers from yesterday. I had a piece of taco spiced meat sauce pie and a piece of salmon pie with pasta salad, green salad, olives and sun dried tomatoes, a couple of slices of smoked ham a bread with cream cheese and a beer.
 

2007-04-06 Friday
Today we celebrated my wife's birthday. We served a buffet with four sorts of pies - Cold smoked salmon with cream cheese, taco spiced meat sauce, shrimps and cheese and ham. To this we had a pasta salad, green salad with garlic sauce and a feta cheese with créme fraiche sauce. Several kinds of smoked ham, sun dried tomatoes, green and black olives, garlic cloves in chili sauce, guacamole and mozzarella cheese with tomatoes and basils.

There where also bread with different kinds of cheese, water and honey melons, grapes and cape gooseberries. To this we served a white whine, Rocky Creek, and a red wine, Infinitus, beer, sparkling water and soft drinks. There where also warm pasta and taco spiced meat sauce, mainly for the children.
 

2007-04-05 Thursday
No time to cook today - Takeaway Mc Donald. Whole meal McFeast with French Fries and Coca Cola to drink. (I had to go back and get half of my order which was "forgotten" and when we came home we found that here where still a dip sauce missing. This happens a lot and normally I check before we leave, but this time I didn't.)
