2009-09-24 Season 2 Episode 1 - 4 month later

At last the new season has started. 4 months has passed and a lot of things has changed.

Both Peter and Nathan is alive. But where has Peter been and why doesn't he remember. Looks like he has a new look though, his hair has has got the same treatment as his memory - most of it is gone. Maybe his new necklace will help him remember. Appears as if he doesn't even remember his powers though he still knows how to use them. Another big question is why Nathan doesn't know where Peter is. After all, it was Nathan that flew away with Peter. Maybe the badly burned face he saw in the mirror at the bar has something to do with this.

Hiro went back to the 17th century and met his hero, Takezo Kensei. Just to find out that he is no hero at all, not even Japanese. But he has the sword. Shall we guess that it is actually Hiro that will become his own hero, as a stand in for Takezo?

The mystery around the "company" is about to get revealed. Apparently they are on a mission to find all people with special abilities and keep track of them. The ones with very dangerous abilities or abilities that are dangerous for mankind in some way, will be eliminated. Mohinder, who now is working with Mr Bennet, will probably find out more since he is about to be employed by the "company". There are still a lot of questions left here - Why does Hiro's father and Nathan's and Peter's mother have to be killed? Do they know too much? And who was it that killed Hiro's father? Both fell of the building but only one ended up mashed on the street.

We also meet Alejandro and Maya on the run in Central America. It seems that their destination is New York and that they will try to find Mohinder there. Maya has an ability that effectively can take care of people that is bothering her. Too bad that she can't control it and that it apparently affects not just one person but all in her vicinity. Another new acquaintance is Clair's new friend, West, who can fly just like Nathan.

Matt has divorced his wife and is now living with Molly in Mohinders apartment in New York. Not an ideal place for a little girl, one might think, even if she is with a police man. Molly's nightmares about the one who is trying to find her seems to get worse. Is it Sylar that is trying to find her, or perhaps someone even worse?

I am glad that Heroes is back. The first episode promises good for the ones to come.
