The professional military sniper,
Bob Lee Swagger, quits the army after a mission that has gone
terribly wrong and where his friend and spotter got killed. He
takes his refugee to a cabin in the wilderness. One day he gets
a visit from a military agency that needs his help to find a
sniper who is supposed to kill the president. The sniper is
supposed to be very good and only Swagger can think like him. It
turns out that it is the agency, lead by Colonel Isaac Johnson,
that is actually going to kill the president, or rather a
prominent visitor to the country, and frame Swagger for the
murder attempt.
This would have worked if it
weren't for Swaggers excellent military training and expertise,
not only in the sniper field. He is determined to hunt down the
ones who are really responsible in order to get his life back.
This is a very good action movie
with a nice conspiracy theory. It will keep you in suspense for
a large part of the movie. It gets a rating of 8 out of 10.
