This is a family movie, a comedy, about an ex spy, or perhaps
secret agent, named Minky and a wiz kid, Amelia, who's father
also is an ex spy and a former partner to Minky. Amelia has
invented a kind of super laser drill that can drill all the way
down to the earths core if it is scaled up 100 times. There is
an evil scientist who kidnaps Amelia in order to get her to fix
his upscaled copy of her drill model so he can drill down to the
earths core in a mountain in Japan, to... well I actually don't
remember why, something about energy I think. However, when
doing so he also jeopardizes the whole of Japan so he must be
stopped. Enter Minky and Amelias father to both rescue Amelia
and Japan. The only thing is that Minky is a chimpanzee who also
happens to be a great spy-agent. There is also ninjas, hit men
super heroes (sort of) and a lot of tech stuff. Although the
acting in this movie was lousy, to say the least, it was rather
funny, mostly because of the chimpanzee. I saw this move
together with some kids, aged 9 to 12 and they loved it -
despite the thin story and lousy acting. It has also got a
rather bad rating on IMDB. I suspect it is because it is rated
by adults rather than children. If you have children, see it
with them, if not don't bother.
