I have found that Google Sketchup is a very simple program to work with (once you get the hang of making everything into components). It is a very useful tool to test and tweak ramp plans with, before you actually go ahead and build them. Of course you can make models of anything but this is what I have used it for.

On this page you will find ray traced images and links to the models in 3D Warehouse, where they can be downloaded for free. Google Sketchup is also free. The ray tracing program used here is Kerkythea which is also free and can be easily used with Google Sketchup output by the use of a plugin.

The first model is a miniramp with one bank that we actually built in Svedala skatepark last summer. The link to the model is here.

Here is a nice detail shot.

This is a quarter pipe ramp with or without a bank. It is not so wide but put two or three next to each other to get it wider. This actually goes for most of the models, they can be extended by adding more sections side by side. Link to the model is here.

Or why not put 2, 4 or 6 in front of each other to get a half pipe. Here without the bank. Link to model in 3D Warehouse.

Here is a model of a small funbox with a rail. This model was almost as hard to do as the real thing. Link to model in 3D Warehouse.

Here is a detail shoot of the woodwork.
