2007-07-04 One bank and the coping
on the miniramp is finished
Although the bank is not quite finished yet. But above all, the
much longed for coping on the miniramp is made and mounted. This
also means that we have been able to mount the sheets on the top
of the ramp as well. A lot of raining and some other stuff have
disabled me from building for a couple of days, but now I'm back
again. Soon time for the funbox.
2007-07-08 The funbox is begun
The boards are cut up and the middle section is almost put together.
We must hope for better weather in the next couple of days so
the construction can continue smoothly. As can be seen in the
background on one picture, the bank on the miniramp has also
been given it's surface layer.
When the weather is good (or at least when it isn't raining)
there are already quite a few skaters visiting our little skate
park.
2007-07-17 The first layer is in
place
Almost anyway. The weather is still against us so everything
takes a little longer than planned. Here is a picture of
the frame for one of the corners. The measurements were a little
hard to calculate from the drawings so here we have measured and
built as we go.
An "ollie" over the box can look like this.
2007-07-23 The outer layer on the
box is almost done
Again, the weather has been against us but we have anyway almost
got all the outer layer on the box in place. Soon time for the
rail section.
