There are some rather good TV Shows on right now. The ones I look at are Heroes, Lost, 24, Battlestar Galactica and TAPS (Ghost Hunters). I guess there are a lot more good shows out there but there is so much more to do than to watch TV isn't there?

A lot of TV-shows can be downloaded from the internet and watched without the commercials. This makes an episode about 43 minutes instead of one hour and it also has the benefit of not having to wait until the episode is aired in counties outside USA. It is probably illegal but I think it is the next inevitable step in the TV industry. Nothing is staying the same. Unfortunately, the TV companies won't quietly let this happen and it won't be long until we will see a new type of commercials. Probably directly embedded into the video flow as watermarks (as where we see the name of the TV channel today) or as a split screen where the program is showed on one half of the screen at the same time as the commercial is showed on the other half of the screen. Commercials will probably also be more subtle embedded as part of the show (even more than it is today).

This means that I will be commenting on the episodes as they are "aired on the internet" which means that it is possible that the episode isn't aired in your country yet, unless you live in USA. So a big SPOILER WARNING, here.
